Who doesn't love leftover photos? Am I right?  Not really leftover photos, but photos from a film roll that I failed to have processed for months.  These are from the Wanderland Music Festival my friend and I attended months ago, taken with my Superheadz Fat Lens and if my memory serves me right, an expired Lucky 200 (If I'm being honest, I can't even remember the exact date of the event. I will have to check my ticket again for that).  In the meantime, here are some of the photos I loved from that roll.

Wanderland 2013
Lying on the grass waiting for something to happen

We brought a ton of stuff, like a bunch of paranoid hippies

Wow, it's been months since our last post here. I think my last post was a half-hearted attempt at reviving my waning interest in cameras.  That was at a pretty low point in my life, and cameras were the least of my concerns, but let's not talk about that here. :P

Okay, so where was I?  Yes. Here we go.  I'm back in the game, to borrow an outdated phrase. Last weekend, my friend, Arianne, and I went to this music festival called Wanderland.  I'm not into the scene, whatever that means, as I'm pretty much an outsider anywhere I go (due to the fact that I make even the coolest stuff uncool), but it was great, despite the proliferation of flower hairbands and questionable outfit choices.  It was a sunny, sunny day, so I whipped out my cameras for some fun.  I used my Instax Mini and my Superheadz Fat Lens.  This post is dedicated to the Instax Mini shots. I have yet to develop the Superheadz shots. I'm busy, you know. :P

I have a few camera crushes, but none of them are the usual Superheadz or Lomo cams.  Here are two of them so far.

Till then, I shall have to keep on dreaming, and find a way to use my new Bee camera, which I believe I haven't shared yet.

in front of Chungking Mansions
My friend, Arianne, and I went to Hong Kong.  I took a few crappy photos.  And in between those, there were a few cute ones.

A few months ago (last year, actually), I joined a one-day activity for lomographers in UP Diliman.  Featuring Parkour Manila, here it is, finally.  Thanks to Shutter Revolution.  This was fun.

the Bangui Windmills, Ilocos Norte

My family and I recently took a roadtrip up north to Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte. The route was from our house in Bataan, then Tarlac, Pangasinan, La Union, and finally Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte. Whew. For the trip I brought my two cameras, the Fat Lens and the Golden Half, and I used Lucky 200 for both. The results below show just how much I still have to learn about these two cameras. The Golden Half photos turned out moodier than I thought they would, simply because we arrived at Vigan before the sun was up in full blast. The Fat Lens photos turned out better than I expected, though. Lots of bright blue skies, vignettes, and wide angle goodness.

The Golden Half photos were all taken in Vigan, while the Fat Lens photos were all taken all around Ilocos Norte.

Why hello there.

I know it has been at least 6 months since my last post, but I had a really good reason.  The last few months have been life-changing as we welcome a new member of our family.  Amidst our life rollercoaster, I knew I had to make it up to this blog somehow; so what better way than documenting our journey with one of my toy cameras.

So, without further ado, our past 38 weeks in summary via Polaroid:

That's it for now, I have to go cuddle with my babe.  You understand, right?
