The photo processor somehow messed up with my Golden Half shots and scanned the half frames separately. Ah well. Let's just pretend this is a roll from my Fat Lens.  Majority of the photos were taken in Naga City on a particularly unpretty day, but it was fun times indeed with my friends, Arianne and Eloisa, so despite the bad weather, everything was fun.

Here are some photos from my first test roll with the Golden Half Telepathy.  The Superheadz miracle happened again, so I am now a firm believer.  Out of the 36 possible shots, 33 came out.  I'm not going to post all, though, as most of them are either overexposed or underexposed.  I think I got used to the Fat Lens that doesn't need any adjustment in the settings, so I wasn't able to manipulate the simple settings for this baby.  Lesson learned, yeah?

I just love a clear blue sky
I'm pretty obsessed with my new shoes
What? No food in pool? Guess I better find my food elsewhere. ;)

Till the next test roll :)

How amazing is the Lomokino?  I'm usually a Superheadz fan, and I love my Digital Zumi 2++ wholeheartedly and then some, but this movie camera is just too freakin' awesome not to share.  See video below and swoon.

Teaser Trailer from Lomography on Vimeo.

Basically, the Lomokino is Lomography's newest baby, a movie camera that lets you shoot a mini movie composed of 144 frames on any 35mm film.  What I love about this is that it looks quite simple to operate.  Let's just hope it's a little sturdier than most Lomography products. :P

What I'm just wondering is, how the hell do you unload, process, and watch the film itself?  I have yet to read the whole thing, but this is really exciting. Not sure if I'd be willing to shell out for it, though.  My heart belongs to the Zumi.

the Golden Half Telepathy shots by Mac Centeno

Here's my new toy acquisition, a Golden Half!  I've been dreaming of getting one for months now, so when I saw this one, a second-hand but almost new Telepathy Golden Half with a Holga mini flash, I just had to succumb.  First of  all, it was already heavily discounted for something that's been used only once, and second, I just really need a new toy camera to cheer me up. :)

I still need to finish the first test roll. And I also still need to figure out how to use the external flash. ALSO, if the big trip pushes through (no words on this yet; I don't want to jinx it) I will be putting this camera and the Fat Lens to good use. I'm really excited to beat my record for the number of cameras I bring with me on a trip (on my trip to Bangkok, I brought a. Instax b. Zumi c. Disderi Robot Cam and d. a Nikon D40, and yes, I used all of them :P).  This time, I have 3 additional cameras, so the dilemma is whether to bring all 7, or just choose. I'm not a rational travel packer (or whatever), so I might actually end up bringing all of them just to be sure no one (yes, I'm using anthropomorphism on them ; I mean, I NAME them) feels left out. Heh.

Well, here's my third roll using the Superheadz Fat Lens. I've just been too busy with work, haven't been out much lately.  I will also include one shot from the LomoMatrix shindig, which is still in the works in the hands of the cool people at Shutter Revolution.

Thanks to Sephy for sending my photos to me.

this was one of the LomoMatrix shots I did

Hoping to get out more and take more photos of interesting things. LOL #nolifeatall

Here are a few Instax photos we took from our latest trip to Niagara Falls, Ontario:

I finally had the second roll of film shot with the Superheadz Fat Lens processed.  This time, to save a bit more money I had the film processed straight to CD, and then later on I will just choose the photos I want to be printed.

I love how I have some vignetting in some of the photos here. And the accidental light streak in the first photo!

Here are some of the photos I loved from the roll.

New photos taken with the Instax Mini and Ansco (ok, the photos taken with the Ansco are a few months old, actually.  I'd forgotten about them.)

It's been forever since I got a hold of my little LC-A (he stayed with Husband in the Philippines), and I've missed him so!  Thank god for sunny weather, we were able to try out the film we got from the Lomo Shop in Toronto

About 20 out of the 36 shots came out but I love the saturated colours that we got from this roll! Kinda evens it out for me :)

'Til the next adventure,

I have yet to finish another roll with my Superheadz Fat Lens. The combination of a too-busy work life, the bad weather, and routine has made me quite delinquent with my toy cameras.  But now I've made it a point to always carry around my Superheadz just in case.  In the meantime, here are photos taken with the Digital Zumi when my friend, Inad and I went to Bangkok.  I don't think I've posted them online yet. I'm quite surprised at the quality of some.

Maybe on my next blog post, I'll have more recent photos. :P
